Boy, that's not the answer I just got when I called your retrofit department. I asked if I could just upgrade to XP and was told NO. I would have to change over to the new Qcore super controller with a whole new front end. This would cost me $10,000 And this after we JUST upgraded to v5.05 build 9, for $750, so we could get profile modeler, (which we would never use) just so we can keep getting CN updates. He said you wouldn't sell me an XP version. I'd HAVE to go to Win 7. So, what's the real story? I'm confused and shocked.
I think Josh and Larry are talking about the Thermwood Desktop Software not the Control
The Desktop Software allows you to work from your PC then send the code to the control.
HERE is a link to a thread discussing the Desktop Software.
Maybe not related but want to share our improvement. We now have a phone at the controller, we also have camera and I just installed "Log me in" so now I can do all and was doing at the controller sitting in my office (load files, adjust settings, nest, write,etc..), all I need is a guy to push start and put the sheet on the table....I save a lot of time and I can train my guy at the same time.
