Maybe a simple fix????

Post by Denis L'Heureux »

When ever I nest a job I get this:

No title at the top. I have to grab it every time to see the title. Any simple fix I can do in menu or otherwise to have the top title displayed like this:

Denis,

It has always been this way. You have to use zoom or pan to see the top page of the nest. I agree that it would be nice to have this fixed.

We have this on the issue list. It has to do with widescreen resolutions. Our recommended resolution in 1024 X 768. If you dont want to change your resolution, we have found that if you resize the eCabinets window to an aspect ratio of 4:3 while in the nest it will show the title block at the top.

Another nice thing to have is when you double click on a sheet to get more detail, then hit the back button, it would be nice to go back to where you were instead of jumping all the way back to the top of the display then having to scroll down again to find what you were looking at. In a small job this is no big deal, but in a large job this is time consuming to always start over again at the top. Just a nice feature.

Yes, I totally concur with that thought. Have it go back to where you were, not the beginning. Very annoying in a large kitchen.

Don, I've asked for that implementation before so needless to say I agree that it would be extremely helpful if all areas of the software were smart enough to remember where you were when returning from one place to another.

Thanks for the replies. It's not something I can't live with but it will be nice to have it fixed.

Cheers
