Need help With assemblies!

Post by Hunter Rawls »

Some assemblies that i make need to go up on the wall and not down on the floor. But everytime I go to place them in a room it automatically sets it on the floor. Does anyone know how to place them up on a wall?
Thank you

move them manually by going to wall elevation view and move them there by either using the move increment or the position on wall. When you compose your library use one of the upper cabinet seed units, set the height position in settings/preferences and it should be good to go.Its advisable to subscribe to the online video traning, money well spent as it will save you countless hours and much pulling out of hair.Welcome to the forum!

Another question might be, "Does it need to be an assembly?". If you are just adding display objects to the cabinet, then it does not. The objects need to be associated to the cabinet and saved. If you are attaching cabinets to each other, then it needs to be an assembly.

As Al Dedenus indicated. If it is an Assembly. Go to the elevation view. Click on the Assembly. Then adjust the position from the menu on the left.
