Door Editor Frustrations

When I am selecting doors and drawer fronts it seems that when I select a door or drawer front as default the editor closes and I have to re-open it to select the other. Is it just me or does this happen to everyone? It would be nice if the editor would stay open until I have made all my selections and then I could close it out.

Oh yes it sure would be nice.
The only thing better than that would be if we had a 'create matching drawer' button, or if the default selection was automatically applied to the drawer front as well as the door, but retain the ability to change it when necessary.
