Hi, Is there a procedure for correctly transferring data files from an old computer running XP to new computer running windows 7

Click File on the toolbar and then backup/restore settings. Choose what you want backed up and where you want it backed up to and then use File, Backup. When you get the new computer set up with a fresh install use file, restore. Before you restore you'll have to go back into the backup/restore settings and choose the paths where you put the files. Also, make your own copy of your Ecab data path folder before doing anything, just in case.
