Edge banding the waste board??

I have edge banded the table board to maximize vacuum, but what about the waste board? Will this help at all? Noticing that at G901 corner the Baltic birch that I am using curls up a bit and cant seem to force it down. Only things to do is nest in a different corner, change panel of wood to something flatter and put weights on end of defective ones to straighten out. I'm placing boards on the rest of the table also to maximize vac pressure.
Any one have any other ideas or run into similar problems?

Doubt it will help, but it sure won't hurt either. I glue my waste-board down to the spoil-board, solved many problems for me. This sounds more like a problem with the wood than with the vacuum. Vacuum won't do any good if you can't get the material down flat.

I use double side tape between the wasteboard and spoilboard, our spoilboard is screwed into the aluminium.

We use exterior house paint on the edges of our spoil and waste boards. Works well for us plus is easily machined if we resize/flycut the board.
