limit tool path

limit tool path
I have made a tool and want the profile to appear on one long curved edge only. When I apply the tool path, the whole perimeter lights up green and I get a message that the sweep operation is not possible. It would definitely not be possible to put the profile on all four edges, and I don't want it to. How do I limit the tool path to the desired edge?

You have to pick the single edge at the bottom of the Part Editor screen --
You should look into the Learning Videos for $25 a month -- they would really help you along.
