nested backs
the backs of my cabinets are being nested with grain wrong direction.i have my material identified that it has grain and all backs on my drawings are vertical and I never rotated the grain on any of them yet my machine kept nesting them with horizontal grain.i closed nested cabs and reloaded...still backs were nested wrong.after closing and reloading for the third time it finally nested them correctly in both x and y nest.??? also once in a while it wants to nest parts at a 45 degree angle. whats up with that???

I looked and could not locate any email from you pertaining to this post. So, the PM I sent was just letting you know that and asked you what email you sent it to and to resend it to me again (not sure why you didn't get my PM). Please resend it to ( cabinets@thermwood.com ) and also to ( cabinets@ecabinetsystems.com ) and I will look into it. Sorry for the delay. If you don't mind, please post here after you sent it so I can make sure I look for it if it does not come directly to our inbox.

Re: nested backs
Just to add closure to this post:
This was figured out after I received his export from Control Nesting. The reason some parts were rotating was due to a material existing that did not have the grain option checked (that is in the eCabSys define materials dialog), and the Control Nesting setting for Part Rotation Step Angle was set to 45 degrees. With these conditions set, the nesting algorithm has the freedom to rotate parts at 45 degree increments.
