For a while now we have been having issues when cutting our inhouse dovetail drawer boxes.
First issue.
It seems that the CNC is ramping too far into our spoilboard. Pictures attached. The one image shows all of the components just after they were machined. Then the second image shows the table once the componets have been removed.
Does anyone know what may be causing this?
Second Issue,
In this batch of drawer boxes the fit of the dovetail is off. Again not sure what is causing this. Picture attached.
Our recent batches of drawer boxes the CNC would machine into the spoilboard but the fit would be perfect. Now we are having issues with fit.
Can you post your drawer box file along with a control nesting export of the offending drawer box? Or you could email them to cabinets@thermwood.com with the subject Attn: Scott.
What version of Control Nesting are you running? 5.84 or 5.59 Patch 3?
What is your Ramp In Settings defined as - in particular the Dado/Rout Pre-Ramp Depth? (Make sure that you verify the settings in relation to your possible "Settings Grouping" based on material.)
