Nesting warning

I am nesting a kitchen project and for some reason, eCabs will not nest 8 adjustable shelves that measure 7.0025"W x 21.774"L. I'm not sure why the program would pick these shelves to not be able to nest. I have deleted and added them back in multiple times with the same results. I wish there was a reason attached as to why the parts could not be nested.

Anyone know of a way to find out why eCabs won't nest these parts?

Tried to upload the cabinet and the forum won't let me. The file is 1.3MB in size. This seems very excessive for an upper cabinet that is 93" long x 9" deep x 40" tall. Not sure what gives. Anyone have suggestions on how to get the hsf file uploaded?

Interesting development - the nesting problem occurs only if I add edge banding to the shelf. I did an experiment where I added edgebanding to 1 shelf and eCabs spit out an error on nesting that one shelf.

Don,

I added edge banding (used an EB material that I have that is .02" thick) to all edges of the 8 shelves in your cabinet and it seems to nest just fine for me. Can you add the banding that you are using and then attach that version for me to try.

Ok. I guess I used eCabs to much yesterday and it got really tired. Today I can edgeband the shelves in this cabinet and it nests just fine.

I guess I will need to give eCabs a couple of coffee breaks and a lunch break during the day so it can rest....
