Removing the gradient back ground from the presentation view

I see this question from time to time. I made this quick video on how I remove the background from thr image that is produced from the presentation view.

I use Paint Shop Pro to do the same thing. Lasso select then invert the selection and cut or delete.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update on this background removal thing.
I had someone ask me how to get rid of the darkness in the window. “It looks kind of odd to have light shining on the floor when the window appears to be dark outside?”
So here is another method of removing the background from ecabinets jpg imabes.
