Partition/Shelf Openings

I have a wide, tall cabinet--56W X93H. I have put a partition down the center. then added a fixed shelf in one side. When I go to add another fixed shelf to the same side, it picks an opening the full width of the cab not just the one side . It ignores the partition and makes a full with shelf. I can not pick any single new opening I created. No associations, or locks. Also I when I try to pick a part/shelf to delete, it describes the part but picks the whole opening. If I zoom in real tight I can pick the need part.

Hi, Jon. am not sure what is going on. I downloaded the cabinet. I took it to the shelf/partition editor and got the same results. when I tried to select the partition it would not highlight. I had to use ctrl-A to get it selected. however, when I deleted it and added it back everything seemed to work as expected. ( I could select the left or right opening. So I added a fixed shelf to the left opening. now when I select the right opening with the cursor above the shelf, it selects the left and right opening above the shelf ignoring the partition. only now when I select the left opening it selects the entire left opening ignoring the shelf.

I tried the repair option. No Joy. Also when I try to resize an opening in face frame. I input the dimension, hit enter, and the number stays blue highlighted and does nothing. Everything has worked great before with all update, even the latest. This just started happening. I am going to try another computer and see, but looks like a repeatable problem. Also going to try recreating cab.

Sorry 'bout that. Seems there was something (can't find what) about that cabinet. Had another one using that one as a ""seed" and had the same problem. Started fresh with a new cabinet and all seems to work right. I had deleted all internal components, deleted FF, resized, refreshed, resaved, etc. Nothing fixed it.

Should be okay now. Still would be interested on why it happened.

I have consistently been having the same issue. I add a partition or shelf (fixed or adjustable), then am unable to select the space above or below and adjust heights. If I zoom in I can select the shelf itself, and can then manually move it, but cannot enter values in height box to move it up or down. Of course this is happening with all my seed cabinets - if I use Standard Cabinets it seems to operate just fine.

I think I had this happen as well on some cabinets when testing the beta.
I mixed it up with some other questions and wasn't really sure what as happening anyway.
