We just paid the bucks to update our CS45 to the latest Q core 9.1.4. Lots of awesome features that we have been missing from 8.1.1. However one of the features doesn't seem to work right. The replace tool while cutting crashes. We hit Pause then replace tool, the machine comes back drops the tool, we put in a new tool and it opens the new diameter dialog then tries to open the measure tool and crashes with an AFL error. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a software or hardware issue on our machine?
First thing I would recommend, go to Control Options, Communications, and Check for Updates, current version is 9.2.2. Update and see if that corrects it. It may not, but it doesn't hurt to be up to date. Is it crashing as in THM crashes and shuts down, or does it give an error message on an AFL statement? If its an error message, take a screenshot of the machine showing the error message and the AFL statement its on. If its the software itself crashing and shutting down, does it give you an opportunity to send in a crash report?

Thomas,
Can you send me an export from Control Nesting? You can either post it here or email to cabinets@thermwood.com. Also I assume you do not have a piggyback drill?
Go to the C drive and verify there is a folder named toolgrp. Must be named exactly. If there isn't a folder by that name, create a folder and try it again. If it does exist, right click and make sure it isn't set to read only. So far the only way we could get it to fail was getting rid of that folder.
