Laminate and melamin chipping
Hello, everytime I machine plam or melamine 1'' thick or plus, I get a chip at the Bottom where the tool gets throught material…..I use up & down with proper tool...Any idea on settings to adjust to improve this ? Why it does not do this with 5/8''' thick material, is ramping setting the problem ?

Re: Laminate and melamin chipping
Dan,
Since the RAMP LENGTH will affect the ramp-in angle with different materials, you may want to increase the RAMP LENGTH for that thicker material to achieve a similar "ramp-in angle".
>> Alternatively, you could leave the RAMP LENGTH alone and set just the PRE-RAMP DEPTH deeper by 1/4" to 3/8" for that material only.
