Pocket Screw cavity removal
We have a separate machine which drills and routs the pocket screw configuration. Is it possible to design the joinary with the lock dados w/pocket screw, but not cut the pocket screw cavity on the cut center? I still want the interrupted dado on the part.

Re: Pocket Screw cavity removal
The interruption of the dado gives more material for the screw to hold. The lock dado works at the ends of short parts, but longer pieces need 3 or more screws. Thanks for the input

Re: Pocket Screw cavity removal
Richard,
Attached is a hole pattern with no depth assigned to the hole you can use. You'll need to unzip it before using.
1. Load the cabinet.
2. Select the KD/RTA's tab towards the right and change the hole pattern to the one attached to this message.
3. Make sure to apply the change to the cabinet. (3 icons towards the top, choose the one on the right)
2. Now change the cabinet construction to Lock Dado where needed.
This gives you a dado/tennon with "breaks" in it. Hope this helps.
