Controlling the Ramp-in Location

Greetings all!
Does anyone here know if it's possible to control where the machine ramps in on an outline cut? For example, when we're cutting finished gables out of MDF, and it ramps in on the front edge of the part, it leaves a little "dig" where the tool pulls back out after the outline is complete. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to tell the machine to begin the cut and ramp in on an unfinished edge, but no success yet. If anyone has a solution, I'd be glad to hear from you!

I don't think what you're asking for is possible with TWD files, maybe with DXF files.

When we need the best possible finish on MDF, we set control nesting to double pass everything and do the first pass as a climb cut and the final pass conventional. Yes, it takes longer, but it also has the added benefit of cleaning almost all the nasty MDF dust from the nest.

maximum part size to create double pass = 5,000 square inches
skin thickness= .025"
Direction = Conventional with non final pass Climb
