Fixed Shelf Delete?

I have a fixed shelf that eCabinets won't let me select. I want to delete it but it only highlights the opening. How do I delete it?

Hi John. Try holding down the shift key along with both mouse buttons then drag the mouse toward you to zoom in closer to the shelf and see if you can select it. If the opening still gets highlighted then click on the shelf and see if it selects it as well if so then hit the delete key.
