custom texture not loading in door/drawer designer

created a new sheet good material and gave it a custom texture. then i used that material to make a slab door and the texture is now just a bunch of black and white bars. but when i add the door to the cabinets and view it in the cabinet editor its fine, but is bugged out in the batch editor.
can anyone shine a lot of this for me? i've done this multiple times before

Sheet stock is "3/4 5x9 Karisma". Door material description is "3/4 4x8 Karisma"
