When using this editor, I chose slab doors and drawer fronts. When I add drawers, image 2 is what happens. Is there a way to rotate the grain of the wood 90 degrees.
In the designer dialog there is a "Preview Size" for height and width. I've searched the help files and can't find these mentioned anywhere. Can someone please explain to me the purpose of these and if they are having the effect on the drawer fronts being grain up and down versus left and right?
Thank you,
Don

Hi Don
My way of doing it is to adjust it when I add the drawers.

Hi Guys. You can also do this on a whole job or library by using global item modifications. Under door and drawer settings check change door and/ or drawer grain and enter the degree that you want it rotated by. This is my preferred method as it keeps me from having to do it on every individual cabinet one at a time when drawing up a job or library.
Yes! Oh Yes! I Think We Are Going to make It!

Re: Door/Drawer face designer issue
It's interesting because this happened on only one cabinet in a job of 16 cabinets. I have no clue why it happened only on this cabinet. I used the exact same material and door/drawer type on all the cabinets for door/drawer faces. It's just really strange. One of those almost impossible things to trace down in software.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!

Re: Door/Drawer face designer issue
To answer this question, those are to change the preview size for the door/drawer, both in the small view and when you go to full size. With the addition of Part Editor cuts being saved with Slab doors, this allows you to resize the door to verify what it will look like with the cuts.Donald Thomson wrote: Thu, Aug 03 2023, 2:23PM
