Depth of mortise

Post by Donald Thomson »

Is there a way to determine the depth of a mortise that eCabs created to accommodate a part? I have a cabinet deck that has a mortised to accommodate the cabinet back, The mortise is a flip operation which I don't do on my CNC. IS use my table saw for these operations. I can't find anywhere in eCabs where I can get the depth of the mortise so I can set my saw blade to the right height to cut the mortise to the correct depth. Can anyone help with this? I've checked Deck construction parameters, Back construction parameters, tried to bring the deck into Part editor and Constraint editor but nothing I found gives me the depth of that mortise.

Thanks,

Don

Donald,

Take your cabinet into the cabinet editor and because your back will be creating the dado in the deck, open Back Construction Parameters.
At the top you will see your Dado Settings. eCabinets will cut a dado the depth shown plus whatever Depth Clearance you have shown for the back.
