Our thermwood today developed a pretty good vibration when travelling right to left. I checked the autolube, the resevoirs were full but there was nothing in the lines even though the air pressure was set at 8psi(as per tag on regulator) I increased it to ten, they filled up and the vibration stopped.Should I decrease it back to 8 or leave it at 10 as this has seemed to solve my problem?
It seems that the lines must have been clogged, causing inadequate lubrication for a short time and by turning up a bit the obstruction has been pushed through. It would probably be a good idea to turn pressure back to 8psi as recommended otherwise you may get excess oil causing drippage from rails. If this would occur again, you could up the pressure slightly by 1/2 psi increments getting closer to 9 psi if need be.
