Database Contamination?

Post by Nick M Singer »

Something for the programmers to look into... I just did a job where when I machined it I noticed that the hinge holes were drilled 20mm of the edge of the doors instead of my normal 5mm. I looked back into the eCabs job and saw that the hole pattern had changed to this offset, even though I had designed the job with my standard pattern. I had in the same day designed another job with this special 20mm offset and somehow the one must have crossed over into the other. Maybe something needs to be tightened up?

I believe that when you associate a hole pattern for a particular hinge in V5.2 it's going to affect every cabinet that you are using that hinge with. With V6 you associate a hole pattern to the cabinet and not the hinge.

Thanks Joe I will check it out. I was under the impression all this time that associations were job specific.
