PLEASE HELP job will not open

I have a job that cannot be opened. Job is too big to post even when zipped.

error reading parasolid information from this file
error opening job
unable to open ECabinets file data
:shock:
:cry: :evil: :evil:

Can anyone help to revive this job for me? I have drawings due today and have hours of revisions lost!!

I think I would call eCabinets on this. I have a job that won't save because it can't read parasolid files.

Which version of eCabs did you use to create the project and what version of the software are you using to try to open this file? You didn't happen to open it with V6 and then save it did you? This would of course make it impossible to open with V5.2.

As for sending the file, you can use the eCabs communications interface to send larger files, plus you can usually email them to Ryan.

I was surely not modifying it in 6, thanks for the idea. :idea: I called and.......

I did call and Scott was able to help me out. The problem reoccured this morning again, but somehow I got past it. Scott and I had a theory that it could have been my AVG anti-virus software interfering, but after the re-occurance, I think it was actually my backup software that grabbed the temp file and wouldn't give ownership of the file back, creating the failure to open and save. A wierd one for sure... :?
