Can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts
As per the title with V6 I can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts. I have to do this we because we use metal sided draws and they have metal parts that clip to the back of the draw front to hold the draw face on. I was able to use constraints well in this situation with V5 (but i can't begin to tell you what a pain it is - WHY OH WHY CAN"T DRAW FRONTS AND DRAWS BE TREATED LIKE A HINGE AND BORE THE FACE PANEL AS WELL AS THE SIDE PANEL? rant over) but now with V6 as soon as i try to do more than 1 constraint it just won't change the value. When I try to exit out of constraint manager it throws up the error :Error creating route bodies for Drawer with applied constraints. Anyone? We have to use this a lot. cabinet attached

Re: Can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts
I also along with quite a few others do not understand why the holes for metabox front clips cannot be applied automatically with the hardware holes like hinge holes have done for the last 4 years. Although we have the ability to do this in PE they disappear if you have to change drawer fronts. And as you can see with the above post some issues arise with CM from time to time.

Re: Can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts
Another vote in favor of incorporating this feature. It is a pain to create these holes manually, as well as holes for handles and pulls. The software is great, but it clearly seems that this is something that it should have the ability to do.

Anyone here from Thermwood had a look at my constraint issues? Thanks:)

Re: Can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts
Jason,
There is something going on here for sure. With patience, I was able to get Constraints applied to your drawer through repetition. Not the way to get it done, but it did work.
I have this listed as an issue to be addressed.
As for the "Error creating route bodies for Drawer with applied constraints" message, it appears as if your cabinets is missing some internal parts. So, is this an upgrade of a Version 5 cabinet? If so, can you post the Version 5 file for this cabinet to be looked at?
If this is a Version 5 cabinet, can you recreate this issue from scratch using Version 6? I know this can be time consuming, but it will help in identifying what is happening.
Thanks for posting. I look forward to your reply.

Re: Can't constrain holes to back of draw fronts
Thanks for looking into this Ryan, yes that was a version 5 cabinet. I will try this again with a V6 cab created from scratch.
