HELP!! CAN'T SELECT ANYTHING IN CUSTOM LAYOUT

I'm in custom layout trying to modify a job for a presentation to a customer tomorrow and all of a sudden when i click anyhting the only thing that happens is that a little dot on the point of origin turns from red to blue and vice versa. I cant select any cabinets or do anything. It may be unrelated but before that when i was placing cabinets the outlines were red instead of green and were acting real funky when i tried place them. Im at my wits end. I dont know if this is something i did by accident or a serious problem.

I just tried running a repair just in case and still am having the same problem.

Have you tried restarting the program and you computer?
