Model 40

Other than it's footprint is there any reason the Model 40 isn't marketed as a cabinet shop machine any more. I always liked the idea of the fixed gantry/moving table as it looks much stouter than the moving gantry. Does it have some limitations in regard to cabinets that I can't see?
What happened to the Model 41? Was it just replaced by the 43?
Even with less expensive alternatives available (like the 43) it seems that the Model 45 is still the machine of choice for cabinet shops. Why is this?

Hello Kerry,

The CS40 model is still available, and there are no limitations other than it is a little slower than the CS43 model, and the floor space you mentioned. The CS40 demand has been reduced somewhat since one can buy the CS43 for much money and has better performance.

The CS41 has been replaced by the CS43.

The CS45 does allow for added features that cannot be offered on the CS43, such as aggregate tooling and the rotary play back device. However, with the capabilities, along with the lower price, the CS43 is the current machine of choice for most of cabinet shops.
