Zeroing freezes machine
Hi, we have intermittently been having issues, with our CS40, when we do a manual zero(NC reset,Block Step) or the machine zeroes itself, the machine moves the cutter head up and down, but when it goes to move the table, it goes thunk (great technological term i know) and freezes up control nesting making us need to reboot. Any ideas?

Re: Zeroing freezes machine
Jason,
In the event you NC RESET your machine and get this "thunk" can you look and see what the PLC is displaying for error message (to access on THM Versions 7+: Select Maintenance, PLC, PLC Screen, on THM software versions prior to 7: select F10, F3, F5)? Are you seeing the eStop condition occur? Air pressure comming into machine could be dipping occationally.
