Knobs and pulls

Post by Leo Graywacz »

Is there a list of knobs and pulls that have 3D files associated with them so they will show up on my cabinets. So far any knob that I have chosen only uses markers but nothing will show up on a rendering.

Leo,

I would recommend using this new set of pulls released with V6 Bld 5(found on the following link page). It is a small collection of common pulls and knobs.

http://www.ecabinetsystems.com/ecabinet ... pdates.htm

Here is a copy of the details note that is listed by the install file:
These pulls have been designed to be light weight (small file sizes with minimal detail for the 3D file) and will look good at typical viewing distances. However, when closely zoomed in, they may not appear as smooth. They will typically allow for better performance than the higher quality pulls. Keep in mind, pulls can still affect performance, especially on weaker systems. This install will create a manufacturer named eCabSys_LWP. There are 4 basic finishes saved for each pull (stainless, chrome, brass, and black matte). However, the HSF (display part 3D file) for these pulls can be loaded into the Display Part Editor and saved as a new name with any custom finish and then added to your hardware library as another pull. You can also add these HSF files to your own or existing pull hardware products to maximize performance.
