CN 5.65

I Know I am slow to update.... are there any issues with ver 5.65 among users that would suggest I should wait to update our CN? Without looking, we are still on 57 or 58.

Rob,
Do you cut from dxf files often?
If so, do you have pocket layers that meet the edge of the part?
This results in some UGLY parts...

There also appears to be a bug with pocketing cleanup passes happening when they don't need to happen, also double pass settings will be ignored for cutting circles and they will be double passes (outline) regardless.
That's all I broke so far...

Thanks, Josh. You've been busy!
We cut from dxf files multiple times a week however we cut them from MasterCam and so I am going to assume that any CN issues will just affect dxf files taken into eCabs and CN. Right?
Otherwise, sounds like no reason I shouldn't join the rest of the world with the latest version.

No, we cut files very frequently from Autocad via Smartlister / Smartmachining and it has been problematic with 5.65, so a thorough check on the geometry before plowing into a big job would be time well spent. Or a couple of tests before biting into a big chunk anyway...

Josh, can you elaborate on these issues more? Can you send in the jobs and exports that you are seeing these issues in??

OK Daniel here's a new one while we're at it.
I thought there were supposed to be "improvements" to the pocketing routine....so far NOT so good....
Please see all pertinent files attached, there is an island left in one of the corners on the triangular top shapes.
Let me know if you need anything else further.
Will post again with files for the circle.

Oops seems like I didn't do an export for the circle issue after all. I did report that to Larry but he may not have documented it without the export, my fault...I'll see if I can break it later and get you what you need.
