Select all in part editor

Post by Forrest Chapman »

I may have posted about this before but I want to again because I get hung up with doing some part edits. If I want to save a line bore pattern and apply it to another part it becomes a slow process once I get back into part edit from contour mode. Have I been missing something for years or do you really have to choose each hole individually. If the drag box worked or a select all that would be great. Forrest

in contour mode, select Save Geometry button. SAve un cut shapes folder and you can open this back up for a new part.

Thanks Wayne, that is currently how I save and apply geometry. However when returning to PE in order to cut your newly applied geometry you have to click on each hole individually. In contour mode we have a select all button why not in part editor?

Forrest,

You and I have talked about this before and I agree that it would be nice to have a {select all} ability here. I will see what we can do with this.
