Post by Pedro Ghio »

Hello everybody

I just have a simple question, does someone knows the name of this door/drawer and if there is a model for ecabinet for it?

Thanks in advance.

Top part is where you put your fingers and pull and bottom part is where you stick it to the door/drawer

Hi Pedro
I have used this one.
From memory I think it may be a Hettich product.
I don't think there are specific handles that can be applied as per the usual way in eCabs.
If you want a representation I made a tool.tol that can be applied in the part editor to look like the handle.
When I did the cutting list I deducted 33 mm of all the doors and drawers.
Just watch out on your corner units the profile is proud of the face of the door a little bit and may have to be filed back on a 45 degree angle to allow the hinge to work.

Hello and thanks a lot Mark

Thats just what i need, i looked at your files but i dont know if i placed them wrong or what but they all look messed up. When i open any of the two .hsf files it opens whats on the picture, a microwave, a plant, and other stuff, and i dont know how to load the .tol that you made. If you could explain to me if its not much trouble how to use it, it would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pedro
Put the .hsf files into your Thermwoods ecabinets CABINETS files. I would make a folder for 2013/may.
then open eCabs and go into the cabinet Assembly editor.
Find and locate the file in your cabinets folder. It wont have a picture other than the generic one until you open it then save from inside eCabs.
You will probably either have to substitute materials for mine or create new materials.
With the .tol file put it into the folder My profile tools or profile tools, It probably contains folders with the names Whiteside, Amana tool, MDF Asymmetrical Tools and others.
I would make a folder called something like Pedro's tools to keep it tidy.
To use the .tol tool you have to take a door/ drawer or part into the part editor at the top (green hatch to select) and apply an edge.
There are quite a few steps and it would be worth signing up for 1 or 2 months to view Dennis's training vids where he shows in depth step by step.
But see how you go, and if you get stuck I will try and help you.
