So I've seen a few others asking about adjusting the slot distance from the edge of the part. While that normally isn't an issue with 3/4" material, I found it to be a problem when screwing into 1/2" material. The screw poked thru the back. Maybe I can find a shorter screw but maybe also the slot can be made to change dynamically with the mating material.

Re: Pocket screw adjustment
Forrest,
They make the 1" long screws for 1/2" material. This way it keeps only the non-threaded part of the screw shank in the part containing the pocket.
