Adjustable shelf hole location relavent to shelf material

Adjustable shelf hole location relavent to shelf material

I have attempted to locate adjustable shelf pin holes at the center of the shelf material with no success. They are always placed at the bottom edge of the shelf. I have tried a number of methods without success. Can any one enlighten me. I am using v6 build 16.

It appears this feature is not working.
