Program runs OK until I go to nest a job. When I hit Nest, it does normally looking fo rduplicate parts, etc but then gives me an error message reading
"Directory: c\programdata\thermwood\ecabinetsystems\. Cannot create the temporary sub-directory" and when I click OK to that it says "Error Opening Nestlib. Exiting" and then gives me a list of all the parts of cabinets that did not nest, which is all of them.
I go to c\programdata\thermwood\ecabinetsystems\ and I see Temp folder but nothing in it. Also in this list, under the Temp folder are the multiple attempts of me trying to nest in folders named "tmpnst1" and numbers up to "tmpnst9". I tried to delete these tempnst folders but even though I am Admin, it says I don't have permission.
Any ideas? Program@thermwood says it is my antivirus but that hasn't changed in 6 months and this started yesterday. I have white listed eCab on virus protection, etc. Using Windows 10.

And, I can take twd file to machine and it nests fine.
My next step is to uninstall and re-install

Re: Temp folder error
Try turning off your antivirus and see if it will work. The antivirus software updates its threats and could cause it.

Thanks, Tim. I've tried that but no luck. It is strange.

Re: Temp folder error
Will it let you delete the temp folder itself? If not I think reinstall is in order also

Re: Temp folder error
Did you just whitelist ecabinets.exe or did you whitelist c:\programdata\thermwood\ecabinet systems and all it subfolders? What antivirus are you running on that pc? If you ran across the problem, then added ecabinets.exe and the programdata directory without rebooting there could still be file locks on the tmp files created.
