Surfacing tool getting caught on tool holder.
Been happening more and more. The blades on my surfacing tool keep hitting the positive stop sleeve and knocking the blades out of alignment, leading to an uneven surface...has anyone else had a similar issue?

Re: Surfacing tool getting caught on tool holder.
What size is your flycutter? Is it centered going back into the tool holder? You can take the dust hood off, do a maintenance tool unload, and use the feed rate knob to slow the motion of unloading the tool. If its not centered, the value for the drop off location can be adjusted to correct the issue.
