Teach Line Issue

In CNC View, type T,M,L
Line Teach opens
Cursor is in axis box, type 1,enter
Cursor moves to Distance box, type 10(or any number) ,F11 or F12 no movement. Same with step plus and minus buttons they turn blue but no motion. MDI move is checked. F10 or undo teach returns to CNC view.
Type T,M,L, 1 enter,10 enter and machine moves 10". Enter again nothing. Type 10 in the distance box nothing. Hit F4 cursor moves to second axis box, type 1, enter,10,enter and the machine moves.
