Help with Drawer Rear Mounting Brackets

I would like to be able to drill holes in the back of a cabinet or left/right or up/down stretchers to mount rear drawer slide brackets.

I have done this in the past using phantom shelves with hole patterns associated as KD fittings but this was very clumsy.

I would like the hole pattern to be associated with a drawer box so it is added when a drawer box is added.

Any suggestions?

I use rear hanging brackets all the time with undermount soft-close slides. I use left right stretchers that have the bottom of the stretcher locked to the top of the rail on the faceframe that the drawer will go into. When I mount the slides, I just use self tapping screws in the rear bracket. I space the slide from the inside of the cabinet side using simple MDF spacers. Seems to work. There are most likely much more efficient ways, but this seems to work for me.

I probably need to clarify my request. I want the router to tap holes in either a back or stretcher for the brackets when I place drawers.
