Calc countertop sq ft
Is there a way, once you've added countertops to a room of cabinets, for eCabs to calculate the square footage of the countertops? Trying to estimate $ for countertops.
Sincerely,

Re: Calc countertop sq ft
Hi Donald.
Yes I see what you mean.
I dont know of a way.
We dont use the countertop section for various reasons.
The way we do it is to create a material for benchtops.
We then use a standard cabinet with only the top remaining.
You can set it up as per job requirements with benchtop joins.
or
Often we will just use a piece, say 4000mm x 5000mm and part edit it, but then it will give you the total area including the parts that are not there.
Doing it this way is fine for assemblies but then from memory placing it into a room has other complications
