Re: control nesting 6.25
This is one of those odd times where we jumped the gun with the desktop version vs the machine version. We aren't quite ready to release the update for the machine as we want it to be timed with the next Cut Ready release. We are hoping for soon, but we are waiting for product to arrive that will go with the Cut Ready release, before we release the Control Nesting update for machines.

Re: control nesting 6.25
Hi Clint
Looks like the team have been busy with some good fixes in there.
The loading change sheet size one is very, very good.
And the alphabetical sorting is just like viewing and selecting a material in eCabs, Good stuff
Two things
First is the download link in anouncements took me to the Thermwood website home page and not the download page.
Second Windows is giving me a potential security risk message that I haven't seen before. Sorry, 3rd thing
Thanking you
Mark
PS. (I'm downloading first THEN installing

What difference will it make to how it does pocket operations, does that mean it will pick the largest suitable pocketing tool regardless of listing in the tool order, where as before it would just pick the first pocketing tool?Implemented going through all available tools (largest to smallest diameter) for pocket cut through operations. (ADDED)
Thanking you
Mark

Re: control nesting 6.25
Thank you for the heads up Thomas. We altered the link and hope that helps.
Pocketing has not been changed. The change is to pockets that are through cuts. In the past, if a pocket operation is a through cut it would use the cleanup settings to pick one tool. If that tool failed due to the pocket through cut area being too small, the operation would fail. Now Control Nesting will go through all the designated pocket tools to find one that fits.
