how do you open the files in the 3d images forum?David Norton put a range hood in there that looks like what i need(bottom of page 3)but my computer says it cant open the file

First, save the file onto your system, then go into the Display Part Editor, and click \"Load STL/HSF\" This should let you load it up. If you can't load it, either you didn't get a clean download of the file, or the file is corrupt somehow...

I just downloaded and installed that particular file, so you should be all set...
