When I try to detail a room, I often want to use some imagination related to selecting materials. eCab comes with a wide selection of materials (directory named MATERIALS with lots of subdirectories) for this process, but I have not found a convenient way to search through the selections.
Has anyone written a script or found a method to print out a catolog of all available materials that can be used to help in the selection process. I think that would be a helpful tool. It was suggested that I use a photo program such as Picasa and print these directories like a photo album. I haven't been able to make this work --- I want to print the images with the complete directory path so they are easy to find when using eCab.
If anyone has a good method that would help here, it would be great!

You can print a contact sheet from Windows Explorer. Just select the folder(s) you want to print, click the \"Print the selected pictures\" link on the left and follow the Photo Printing Wizard instructions.
Be sure you select \"Contact Sheet\" or you will get a page for each image (over 7500 if you select all materials folders).
You might want to print a single folder at a time since the file names do not have the full path.
Something else you might want to do is use something like PrimoPDF and print the contact sheets to a PDF file (saves a lot of paper and ink).

Here is a PDF sample of the first two Brewster folders. Again, you probably would want to make each folder a separate PDF so you would know where the images came from.
