Drawer Box Material not saving

Hello,

I am having some difficulty with the drawer box materials functions.

I make a Baltic Birch 1/2\" (12mm) sides and 3/8\" (9mm) bottoms. Rabbit the front and backs into the sides and let the bottom into all 4 pieces and glue it up. I use the Blum Tandem undermounts and then notch and drill.

I have saved my drawer construction in the drawer box designer and then selected the saved drawer box in the drawer box editor and selected the sizes and number of drawers for a cabinet. Saved it and then go to Batch Cabinets and on to Nest Diagrams check filter and perform nest.

The nest keeps coming back with 3/4\" generic materal on 4 x8 sheets as compared to the 5 x 5 sheets my Baltic Birch comes in.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Did you create the material when you first started? Go to your settings and preferences and define stock materials. In here is where you will set up 5x5 sheets with the correct thickness.

Hi Justin,

Yes I have the materials listed with their dimensions 1524mm x 1524mm 12mm and 9mm thickness.

In the drawer box designer, the material shows as the correct Batic Birch. In the Cabinet/assembly editor and drawer box editor, the material does not show, but it is the same name of the drawer.

I did save it in the standard directory, does this matter?
