Wall association causes cabinet to lose EB data

Post by Jeremy Schiffer »

Starting from scratch, make a single wall, choose the Std. Upper Frameless, set insert method to Align to Back, place cabinet on wall. Now select the cabinet, right-click and disassociate it from the wall, then RE-associate it to the wall. Now select the cabinet and take it to the cabinet editor, and click the EB button. Error pops up saying \"this cabinet does not have enough data to edgeband any of its parts\".

This also causes all edgebanding to be removed from the cabinet and it won't show up on the labels.

Jeremy,

This is perfectly reproducible - I get the same error message, but I don't lose the banding, at least in the image in the Cabinet Editor or in the Custom Layout. In fact, just disassociating the cabinet from the wall once, results in this error as well.

Can you still see the banding on the cabinet, or is that gone from the image?

Hi Al,

The banding stays visually on the cabinet, and even shows up in the mouseover dialog in the cab editor, but nowhere else.

This is a problem that's been plaguing me for some time now, and I've only just figured out how to reproduce it (unfortunately, after the beta period was up. :( )
