Installed a new HD, using the old one as a slave. What's the best way to transfer the files to the new one?

If you installed the operating system on the new drive, you will have to reinstall the programs that you have on the old one.

If you have already done that and just need data files, just copy them from the old drive to the new one.

Thanks for the reply Dan. Can I just drag and drop the files? Is there an issue with duplicate files (materials, textures, colors etc.)

For eCabinets files the easiest method is to use the eCabinets backup/restore feature.

Assuming you have a backup on the old drive, copy the contents of it to your new drive backup directory then do a restore.

If you don't have a backup (done the last time you used eCabinets on the old drive), you can certainly drag and drop. Just don't copy the Doors\\Conestogaz directory.
