I just designed a small unit for a client and ran the cut list in order to get an accurate costing. The image I've included is what eCabinets spit out for my 1/4\" back panels - clearly this is not effecient!

Phillip,
When you called for nesting, did you notice how you have the parameters set up for sheet cutting. Is it set for vertical rather than horizontal?

I'm pretty sure that I have it set up as horizontal since I'm ripping these on the table saw. I'll check to confirm this though.

My apologies - I switched it to vertical and it did its thing. Strange that it would not adjust regardless for a cut like this though.
