I am designing a set of cabinets and after I added the drawer boxes & drawer fronts, I decided to change the drawer design. I deleted the drawer fronts and then the drawer boxes, added new drawer boxes and then new fronts. Everything looks fine on the screen, but when I run the cut list, I am getting duplicate drawer components.
As a test, I deleted all the drawers (fronts & boxes) from one cabinet and re-ran the cutlist for this one box (after clearing the batch and reloading the saved cabinet). The cabinet had 4 drawers, all of which have been deleted, but the cut list still has components for 8 drawers. How can I clear the deleted drawers? Thanks.
Craig, not sure what your doing, I just went and picked a standard base w/ff cabinet. Added the drawer, checked cut list and drawer was on the cust list. Went back to door/drawer editor and deleted the drawer front. Went back to main screen and checked the cust list and drawer material did not show up. Aparently it is something your doing. If you could post the file I will try it.
MW Shop 03 - all drawers have been deleted, but cut list shows doubles
MW Shop 06 - drawers are still there, but cut list shows doubles
It probably is something that I am doing, but I have not been able to find the problem. Thanks for your help...and congratulations on the new machine - I am a long way from that, but I am still jealous.
Craig, I can't do alot with what I am seeing. On my end, it looks like parts are everywhere.
I would try starting over. When you have the cabinet loaded on the screen, go to door/drawer editor. Delete the drawer. Now go to add drawer. When the add drawer sreen pops up look toward the bottom and you will see the add drawer. Pick out you drawer and set defaults. you drawer should be there now. If you want to delete the drawer, all you should bave to do, is go back to door/drawer editor and highlight the drawer and use the delete function. Go back to main menu and now your drawer should be deleted.
On my screen, I don't see \"parts everywhere\" - do you know of any setting that might explain why I'm not seeing the other parts? I zoomed way out to make sure I don't see anything on the fringes. Sorry to ask more questions, but I don't understand how everything looks fine on my screen - unless there is some setting that \"hides\" parts. Thanks.
I think I might have found the problem. I had added drawer boxes, and did not realize that the \"Add Drawer Boxes with Drawer Front\" option was checked. Therefore I was getting double boxes. I'm still not sure why the second one was never visible on my screen. Anyway, I selected the space where ecabinets thought the drawer box existed and deleted the invisible boxes. Then I added the new drawer fronts (with drawer boxes) and it seems to be working. Thanks.
Craig
If you will load up cabinet mw_shop_06_138, take it to the door and drawer editor. Delete the drawers, then go to the drawer box editor, notice that the drawer boxes are still in there. This is because the drawerboxes got added in the drawer box editor as well as in the door/drawer editor. If you delete these boxes out and just go into the door/drawer editor and add the drawer fronts and check mark add drawer boxes, this will make the cut list correct.
