Changing cabinet parts

Post by Tom Panks »

Hello.. I am new..very new to this Ecab design software.
I have drawn/designed a complete kitchen and have all base cab's in place on floor plan. I think this is called a \"Job\". I have saved the \"Job\".
Here's what I'd like to do and don't know if it can be done..
I want to change ALL of the cab box sides and backs to 1/2 inch sheet stock without taking each and every cab out individually. They are now 3/4 sides and 1/4 backs.
I know how to edit and change a cab but can they ALL be done at once???
Or will this put my PC into overload?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am learning this pretty fast I guess for an ole timer and am enjoying this. Can't wait to get to the shop and start machining!

Tom,
Open your job, then go to Detail Room,
Right click and choose Select, then All Base Cabinets
All the base cabinets will be highlighted
next right click and choose Change Materials then Sheet Stock
All of your base cabinets will be listed
Expand each cabinet to see the parts and un-check everything but the back on every cabinet
When that is done Click on the 1/4\" material in the list that is your backs and click on the Select a New Material button
Select the 1/2\" material that you want to change to and click Apply
Your backs should all change to the new material
