I learned something I would like to share
Today I learned that when your cabinets are cut with a blind dado. They cut different dados on different parts so the parts will only go into the correct place. I had to cut a few dados before I learned this. Has anyone else ran across this.

Hi Chris,
This can happen if the construction settings are different. Your tops can have a different depth of dado then your deck making assembly easier if your assemblers are aware of this.

Well I have run into something like that. If you mean that they are different width. We use different thicknesses depending on the part - top bottom, partitions or shelves. I guess you are talking about the thickness of the blind dado. Which is percentage of the whole thickness of the part. So yes if you use different thickness of matterials for lets say top and bottom then the dado width will be different.
It's a Global Construction option and is usaully 50%. You have the same option for Dovetail Drawer Boxes which I find very usefull because it can hide the radious cut of the dovetail bit and if you go a bit deeper it will give you and option for inside pre-sand which eliminates a lot of work for the finishers
