I hope all of you guys in New Zealand are okay after the big earthquake. Was it near either of you?

Hi Dan,
The earthquake was approx 275km from where I live (31/2 Hours drive). We did feel it here in Rotorua and it would have to be one of the strongest earthquakes I have felt. No damage to any of my property which was good. I heard on the news that the earthquake was also felt in Christchurch where Thom lives but I'm not sure to what extent it was felt. He is approx 1000km from where the earthquake was in Gisborne.

Glad to hear it was far enough away that it did no damage in your area. I saw video from Gisborne and it got torn up pretty badly.

It sure did get torn up. I have a few friends live in Gisborne and they said it was pretty scary. None of them got injured though which is good :)
