I am experimenting to see how drawers in frameless cabs can be moved out away from the fronts of carcases, and am having a problem.
Beginning with the "base" seed from the "standard" directory, I made no changes at all other than to remove the toe, then used the partition editor to place a fixed shelf to define a drawer opening. You can see that the height of the opening is 5-1/4".
Then I go into the drawer editor, first set up a drawerbox I always use as my standard default d'box, associate a drawerslide with it and hardware hole pattern, and open the editor to make my settings. They are shown here. Note the minus inset for the d'front, which is the way to make it come away from the front of the carcase. The "surround insets" for the d'front are then set as negative numbers, because once you have "non-zeroed" your d'front inset, all dim's are then considered insets, and not overlays.
You can see that the d'box settings are an attempt to fix the d'box height as 4 inches. Given that there is a 5-1/4" opening height, a top inset of 1/4", a bottom inset of 5/16", you would think this is going to work, right? Wrong.
Here is what happens. What is going on?
Problem placing drawer, height-related????

There seems to be some kind of issue with a negitive inset for the drawer. If you do not use a negitive inset everything works fine. I will have the programmers look in to this.
